## About Doco

Doco is an expressive AI companion for focus, music, and everyday moments. It is not another productivity dashboard or a pomodoro timer with a mascot - it is a small, animated presence that lives on your phone and keeps you company while you work, study, or unwind.

The core idea is simple: focus tools fail because they feel like surveillance. Doco flips that. It reacts, wobbles, celebrates, and gently nudges - playful in Everyday mode, calm and minimal in Focus mode. Every animation is built in and runs with zero setup, so the companion feels alive from the first launch instead of demanding an hour of configuration.

Music is built in. Connect Spotify and Doco plays tracks that stay close to your listening history, with just enough room for something new. The goal is music that fits the moment rather than another algorithmic playlist you skip through. It is BYOK, so people who already use AI tools can bring their own key and keep full control of their usage and costs.

Doco is designed and built solo, 0-to-1: the brand, the companion character and its animation system, the iOS and Android app, and the AI stack behind it. The product is currently in waitlist, with TestFlight rolling out to early users. It is made for people who want a bit of warmth in their workday - students, remote workers, and anyone who finds most focus apps sterile and guilt-driven.
