# Gravity Notes

> A minimal notes app built on Karpathy's append-and-review method.

## About Gravity Notes

Gravity is a minimal notes app built on Karpathy's append-and-review method. One stream, no folders, no account, no subscription. For iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android.

Gravity keeps all your notes in one stream, with the newest at the top. As you add more, older notes sink down the list. When one of them still matters, swipe it right and it comes back to the top.

The idea comes from Andrej Karpathy's append-and-review note: write everything in one place, read back through it now and then, and move up whatever you still care about. Gravity has no folders, so there's nothing to file.

Key features:

- One stream of notes, newest on top; swipe right to rescue a note back to the top

- Markdown and tappable checklists, saved as plain Markdown

- Instant tags: start a note with todo:, idea:, read: and it gets its own colour

- Fast offline search, including archived notes

- Home Screen widget and share sheet for quick capture

- Private: notes stay on your device, no account, no analytics; optional iCloud sync with Gravity for Mac

- Export everything as JSON or Markdown

- Light, dark and OLED black themes

- Pay once, no subscription

Pricing: a one-time purchase of $9.99, with no subscription, no in-app purchases and no ads.
