## About ScormMaker

ScormMaker is a free PowerPoint to SCORM converter for teachers, trainers and small L&D teams who already build their lessons in PowerPoint and need them inside a learning management system. You open scormmaker.com, pick a PPTX file, preview the result slide by slide, and download a standard SCORM 1.2 package that you can upload to Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard or any other LMS that accepts SCORM 1.2.

The whole conversion runs locally in your browser. Your slides are never uploaded to a server, there is no account to create and no sign-up form, and the exported course has no watermark. That matters for anyone working with internal training material, customer data or unpublished course content, because the file never leaves your computer. ScormMaker is free to use, including for commercial training.

The package follows the SCORM 1.2 standard and was tested in SCORM Cloud, where completion, bookmarking (learners resume where they left off) and session time are recorded. Learners move through the course with Previous and Next buttons. Embedded MP4 video and audio files (MP3, WAV, M4A and OGG) in your slides are kept and play inside the course, so narrated decks and short demo clips carry over.

ScormMaker is meant to be the simplest possible path from a finished slide deck to a trackable course. It is not a full authoring tool. Slide animations, transitions and quizzes are not converted, and legacy .ppt files are not supported, so save older decks as PPTX first. If you need branching scenarios or built-in assessments, a dedicated authoring tool is the better choice. If you just need an existing presentation to show up in your LMS with completion tracking, ScormMaker does that in a few minutes without installing anything.

Typical uses include turning onboarding and compliance slide decks into LMS courses, sharing lecture slides as a tracked module, and letting subject-matter experts publish training without learning new software.
