I used to work as an independent consultant, and like most freelancers I kept client files scattered across my own computer — folders got mixed up, documents were hard to find, and I never had what I needed on hand wherever I was. After four years juggling three different tools to organize files, manage my calendar and track tasks, with the constant fear of losing information, I decided to bring everything into one place, accessible from any computer, every day, from anywhere. That's how Simple Work was born.

Simple Work is a client file management tool built for independent consultants and small consulting firms. Instead of juggling folders, email threads and spreadsheets, you get one numbered file per client where contracts, documents, letters and invoices all live together, easy to find and easy to track. It works from a phone as well as a computer, so your files travel with you between client meetings.

The tool covers the day-to-day of running a consulting practice: organizing case files, tracking invoices per client, and keeping correspondence in one searchable place instead of scattered across email and local folders. It's built for solo consultants and small firms who want less administrative friction, not a heavyweight CRM built for sales teams.

Simple Work is available in French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch. Pricing is subscription-based, starting around €8/month for the first user with lower per-user rates as a team grows, plus a 14-day free trial with no commitment.
