Todowing is a Chrome extension that adds the upgrades Todoist is missing. It shows sub-task trees nested inline in Today, Upcoming, Boards, Filters, and Labels, where Todoist flattens them. It also adds a focus timer, time estimates, and a font picker. It is unofficial and not affiliated with or endorsed by Doist.
What it does
Outside the project view, Todoist lists a sub-task as its own row and you lose the parent context. Todowing nests sub-tasks under their parent up to four levels deep in date and filter views. Each sub-task row shows its own due date, priority, and labels, and you can check off or reopen a sub-task without opening it. The extension talks directly to the Todoist API from your browser.
Who it's for
Todoist users who plan their day in Today or Upcoming and want the full sub-task hierarchy there. It also suits people who want a focus timer beside their task list, time estimates per task, or Todoist in a different font and text size. It works with any Todoist plan, and Todoist Pro is not required.
