Anesthetic Coder is Rohit Pandit's product-builder portfolio — the home of Replay Chess and whatever ships next.
Replay Chess is a free, browser-based chess replay tool. Load iconic games from chess history, step through them move by move, and analyse any position against a built-in engine. Every game can be shared with friends through a single link, so coaching notes, tactics puzzles, and "what if I played this?" experiments all travel as one URL.
The site is built with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind, and deployed on Vercel — a deliberately small stack chosen for speed and maintainability. Everything runs in the browser; there is no account wall and nothing to install. Pages load fast on mobile, which matters when you are checking an opening line on the train.
The portfolio itself documents the build: what was tried, what broke, and what shipped. Expect technical write-ups on product decisions, UI details, and the day-to-day reality of indie product work. Each experiment on the site is treated like a real release — scoped, shipped, and written up honestly, dead ends included.
Anesthetic Coder is free to use, open in spirit, and aimed at developers, chess enthusiasts, and anyone who likes tools that do one thing well. No subscriptions, no dark patterns, no feature bloat. Bookmark it — new experiments land here first, usually with a short post explaining why they exist.
