Redactic preview

What is Redactic?

Redactic is a redaction tool for people who handle other people's documents: lawyers, payroll and accounting offices, DPOs, estate agents and therapists. Upload a PDF, a scanned page, a Word file or a spreadsheet and Redactic marks names, addresses, tax codes, IBANs, health information and other personal data. You check each match, change what needs changing and download a clean copy together with a certificate that lists what was masked. If you plan to ask ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant about the file, the pseudonymisation mode replaces the values with consistent placeholders, so the AI still understands who is who, and the real values go back into the answer on your side. Everything is processed in the EU, documents are never stored and never used to train AI models. Plans start at 19 EUR per month.

Typical uses: a law firm sends a court filing to a translator without the parties' names, a payroll office forwards payslips to an auditor with tax codes and IBANs masked, a DPO answers a data subject access request without exposing third parties, an estate agency shares a tenant file with a landlord, and a therapist asks an AI assistant to tidy up session notes without revealing who the patient is. Detection runs on PDF text and on scans through OCR, and the review screen lets you add or remove any match before export.
