SeatPlanning is a drag-and-drop seating chart tool for weddings, corporate events, conferences and classrooms. Instead of juggling a spreadsheet and a separate floor plan, you build the plan on a canvas: add round, rectangular or serpentine tables, drag guests onto seats, and group families, teams or friends together. When the layout is final, export a print-ready PDF or an Excel guest list for the venue and the caterer.
It also covers the rest of the seating job. Collect RSVPs with your own questions, such as meal choice or dietary needs, send email invitations, and check guests in at the door by scanning QR codes. You can invite a partner, a colleague or your client to edit the same chart, so nobody works from an outdated copy. It runs in the browser, with nothing to install.
What makes it different: the whole workflow in one place (layout, guest list, RSVPs, invitations and check-in), no sales calls and no annual contract, a $29 one-off Event Pass for a single event instead of a subscription, plans for professional planners who manage many client events, and five languages (English, German, French, Spanish and Romanian).
SeatPlanning is a 2D planning tool, not a 3D venue renderer. It is built to be fast for someone planning one wedding and for planners running events every week.
