A link-in-bio page you edit on your phone

What is shapes?

shapes is a link-in-bio page builder for people who are not designers and who are holding a phone, not a laptop. You pick one of six looks, then edit the page itself: tap the words on the page and type. There is no drag and drop and no settings panel with forty switches.

Everything a page needs is a normal block: your name and bio, social icons, links, photos, a featured piece, a gallery, a music or video player, products, events, an FAQ and an email signup. Folders and tabs keep a long list tidy, which matters once you pass eight or nine links and the page starts to feel like a wall.

Cove, the built-in assistant, can restyle the page or rewrite a section, and every change it makes can be undone. You can also ask ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or another MCP-capable assistant to build a draft for you. It hands over a claim link, the page opens in your editor, and it stays private until you publish it yourself.

One page at yourname.shapes.bio is free to publish, with every look and block included and no card required. Pro is $8 a month, or $60 a year, and adds up to five pages, your own domain, password-protected pages, custom code, saved looks, a year of per-link analytics, email signup export and search indexing.

shapes is built by Chris Bolton, a solo maker, and the editor was designed on a phone first and only then adapted for a laptop.
